Margret Kellogg

After graduating from CEI with a degree in religion Margret went on to attend Cascade College, Portland, OR and Seattle Pacific University to earn a BA degree. Besides taking marimba lessons from marimbist Gene Jordan who taught her all he could and made arrangements for her to study with Jose Bethancourt, a talented musician from Guatemala, she traveled 13 years with pianist Betty Restrick. They made marionettes and Margret was a ventroloquist. As if that wasn't enough, Margret enrolled in Western Michigan University to prepare to teach in the public school system. She graduated with a Masters of Education. After substitute teaching, and then teaching for 1 year she moved back to Wenatchee where she taught in the school at Rock Island.
